Herndon Elementary Field Day is Tuesday, June 13, 2023. Please remind your children to wear tennis shoes and clothes they can get wet in. It is also helpful to have them bring a water bottle and a change of clothes.

Our lost and found is overflowing and getting larger each day. If these items are not picked up by the last day of school, June 16th, they will be donated.

The Herndon ES school health room is reminding parents and guardians that all medication stored in the health room must be picked up NO LATER than the student dismissal time, 2:05 pm, on the last day of school, June 16. More details can be found here.

Friday June 16 is the last day of school for FCPS students and the end of the 4th quarter. There is a 2 HOUR EARLY RELEASE and Herndon ES will dismiss at 2:05 PM. Please be at the bus stop 2 hours earlier than normal. Our office will close at 3:30 pm on this day.

Report cards will go home with students.
