Congratulations to Ms. Kathleen Moskowitz on her recognition as a November 2023 Region 1 FCPS CARES of the Month recipient, presented by the FCPS Department of Human Resources.

Below is the write-up submitted by a Herndon Elementary staff member:

"Kathleen Moskowitz is new to FCPS but comes to us with experience. She is a 3rd-grade teacher at Herndon Elementary School and has a class of VERY high needs. Every day, she has a smile on her face as each day is a different struggle with her students. Kathleen has bent over backward for her students, and even though her day is extremely hard, she has the patience of a saint! She even bought a new pair of sneakers for one of her students because the student's sneakers were very worn out that you could see his socks. Herndon Elementary is lucky to have you!"
