Welcome back to school! See what came our way during the first quarter of the 2020-21 school year. Even though we are virtual, we keep buzzing away in the hive and doing our very best!

PTA Spooky Bingo is one of the most popular events at HES. Dress up is optional but that didn't stop students, families, friends, teachers, and even the principal and assistant principals from donning their costumes!

Students and staff had so much fun at this year's Fall Field Day! Thank you to HES PE teachers, Mr. Johnson and Ms. Pualoa, and all of the volunteers. Check out the parachute, giant blue octopus, tire roll, and more.

Today's photo gallery features the Herndon ES float that won FIRST PLACE in the school group category in the Herndon Homecoming Parade, 6th graders learning about continents and oceans, Mr. Oquendo reads to 3rd graders with the most engaging voice, teachers dressed up as their favorite storybook characters, and Mr. Falkey (aka. Superman) was featured in FCPS Cares in October!
