Madeline Pettey, Herndon ES 

"Mrs. Pettey continually goes above and beyond for all of her students. She works so hard to make sure that each child in class has what they need to be successful in class that day. Today that meant coming downstairs to help my second grader transition from the weekend to Monday in the classroom. Once into school, Mrs. Pettey worked with my student to develop a plan for the rest of the Mondays for this school year. I am so grateful to Mrs. Pettey and the wonderful teachers and staff at Herndon Elementary for helping my student have the best school experience possible!"
